Mushrooms’ multiple benefits

Registration is closed for this event
Fungal life is critical for plants. Find out how you can cultivate them and the benefits for your garden… plus learn of the joys and health benefits to you from eating your own home-grown mushrooms.

Mushroom cultivation ranges from easy to challenging, but is always rewarding.

Tour the oyster mushroom "farm," see and build a winecap bed, learn about shitake culture.

Find out about different types of fungal life and how it interacts and effects the health of your plants and your soil. (Hint: without fungal life we would probably have no terrestial plants at all.)

Come learn about this important topic and share your experiences. Classes are free, but a $5 donation per person is encouraged.

We'll also cover Permaculture Principle 10, Use and value diversity.
