THURSDAY Evening Food Forest Volunteering

Now on Thursdays until it's too dark in the evening to do these. Join for an after-work-party! It's a great way to shake off the day. Individuals working together with supervision to maintain the food forest. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

NOTE: You should get a confirmation of your online registration. The workday leader should also email you confirming that the workday will take place. If the weather or other issues make the volunteer-time not possible, the leader will email you. If we have no signups, we may not show up, so be sure you get a confirmation! (The leader may be a few minutes late due to traffic or work issues. We appreciate your patience.)

Evening events end at 7 p.m., or sunset if earlier, or if we run out of work!

  • Sign-ups required.
  • Family groups welcome.
  • Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Please bring your own water and work gloves. A hat is recommended. Bring hand tools if possible. (We do have gloves and tools we can share.)

Edible Evanston follows any current City of Evanston COVID guidelines.

We require a City of Evanston Waiver (1x per year) and an Edible Evanston/Citizens' Greener Evanston Waiver to be completed. Those under 18 need a parent or guardian signature on those waivers.
